FLEXI-TIE SOFT AND STRETCHY
GARDEN TIE
That is KIND to your plants!
Material expands as the plant or tree grows and will always lie FLAT against the stem.
The soft material will not cut in or strangle. It is strong, frost-proof & re-usable.
It holds a knot, is easy to tie and untie & will not slip.
The brown colour blends invisibly into the garden.
How do I use it?
It is ideal for tying climbers such as clematis etc onto their supports, trellis etc.
It is excellent for tying up shrubs and all herbaceous plants.
It is very useful for veg and fruit - apple cordons, tomatoes, raspberries etc.
The wide size is good for tying young trees to stakes, yanking back large shrubs etc.
Narrow FLEXI-TIE is useful for tying labels onto plants.
FLEXI-TIE is versatile and easy to use and has many other applications.
It makes a great present for a gardening friend and for all gardeners!

.... a few words about FLEXI-TIE
A local nurseryman first brought Flexi-tie to my attention, telling me how useful it was and could I supply? Well the answer was Yes.
Flexi-tie turned out to be one of the most useful extras in the garden. The tubing, which comes in three diameters 2.5mm; 3.5mm and 6mm, can be used for a multitude of jobs in and around the garden. The narrower sizes are great for tying in rambling roses and herbaceous plants; the softness of the material doesn't damage stems. I've used it to tie up a flopping lavender bush; the broad beans that were in danger in our recent windy conditions and my over large tomato plants. Once no longer needed the Flexi-tie can be untied and reused without any problems - so not only useful but economic as well. The largest diameter, 6mm, is used for training stronger growth - fruit trees etc. I had an ancient apple tree against a wall that had fallen down in strong winds, Flexi-tie came to the rescue and we were able to tie it back to the wall where it's still doing the job 18months later.
The Flexi-tie fish knife is also a useful tool. The hooked blade, covered when not in use, cuts through Flexi-tie easily (and string) and the long covered blade is a great help in opening compost bags etc. Carry it with you on a lanyard or belt and you'll wonder how you managed with out it.
By the way the nurseryman who recommended it to me was Adrian Orchard from Southease plant nursery. Adrian specialises in Hellebore and his nursery is well worth a visit - but phone first, 01273 513681, for opening times and directions.
